Village Brewery is looking to add a Production Assistant to our team to support day-to-day operations of multiple departments in the brewery. The Production Assistant will primarily be involved in shipping/receiving, packaging and general warehousing. The nature of the job is generally less focused on ‘core’ brewery operations, like brewing and filtering. Instead, it is focused on some essentials to ensure a brewery is operating properly.Primary responsibilities include: · Shipping and receiving product according to delivery requirements.· Ensuring complete and accurate documentation of shipments and deliveries.· Transporting materials between Village Brewery and off-site warehouse.· Assisting with packaging runs, including operation of packaging equipment and keg washing.· Assisting brew team with raw material prep.· General brewery and warehouse sanitation.Qualifications: · Ability to competently operate a forklift and powered pallet jack; training is provided.· Open to performing a variety of tasks across multiple departments.· High level of organization and attention to detail.· Experience working in a brewery or warehousing considered an asset.· Available to work Monday to Friday.· Must have flexibility in week-to-week hourly schedule.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $17.00-$18.00 per hourBenefits:
