This individual would provide financial support to diverse private sector and not-for-profit clients from a wide range of occupations and industries.Responsible to the President and CFO of The Corner Office and working in a team environment, this professional provides services to companies who require accounting and financial management support. The Accounting Technician is responsible for client deliverables such as recording transactions, assisting with payables and payroll, balance sheet reconciliations, and regulatory filings (GST/PST).Qualifications: · Education focused on an accounting career such as an accounting diploma or degree, with aspirations for a career in accounting· Preference will be given to those having work experience in accounting or payroll· Preference will be given to those having a knowledge of and experience using accounting software such as Simply Accounting, QuickBooks, or QuickBooks Online· Proficient in learning, using, and applying current and new technologies in all aspects of work· Excellent level of communication skills and relationship building to develop strong partnerships· Ability to be professional, discrete, and confidential at all times· Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively prioritize work assignments for themselves and team members· Customer service focused and experienced in managing client relationships based on trust, expertise, and credibility· Organized and detail-oriented· Ability to be efficient and effective while working independently, meeting frequent deadlines and tight timelines· Familiar with Saskatchewan’s business environment and corporate culture.If this describes you, please send a cover letter and your resume outlining your qualifications and experience to us!Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:
